Feasts of St. Abibas

Novena of Thanksgiving

Those faithful interested in advancing the devotion to Our Lady of America may wish to join in a Novena beginning on the Feast of The Transfiguration [Saturday, August 6, 2011] through Sunday, August 14, 2011. In this Novena, we give thanks to God for everything, but especially for the good fruits (both those manifested already and those yet to come) from the last Novena. We offer special thanks to God for a communication sent from The Vatican by S.E.R. Monsignor Joseph Wm Tobin, Archbishop-Secretary of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life [See the envelope postmarked on the First of July ("1 7 11") displayed below.]

The Novena will consist of the same efforts in prayer as the last one, [June 21,2011] but offered primarily in thanksgiving to The Most Holy Trinity through The Heart of Our Lady of America. If you wish more details on what was received by mail (Poste Vaticane) please send a return electronic mail message to: office@ourladyofamerica.org .

The Novena:
Beginning on August 5, 2011, the Feast of The Transfiguration, continuing for the next eight (8) days, the last day being August 14, 2011, we ask those interested in the devotion to Our Lady of America, The Immaculate Co-Redemptrix, to pray a twenty-decade full Rosary , as you are able each day, with all or some of the daily full Rosary prayed before The Most Blessed Sacrament, if possible. The main intention is to encourage and to strengthen those Catholic bishops important to advancing this devotion to Our Lady originally sponsored by Cincinnati Archbishop Paul Francis Leibold.
