PRAYER VIGIL TO STOP
FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT

Will you not wait and watch with Jesus,
and pray for America? [Matt. 26: 38-40]

Vigil for America: 48 Hours of Eucharistic Prayer

From 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 21st (The Presentation of Mary)
until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 23rd (Christ The King)

Please arrange to make a vigil (3-9 hours) [or at least one Holy Hour] before Our Lord Jesus Truly Present in The Most Blessed Sacrament sometime between Friday Evening and Sunday Evening, praying:

`
For the end to all legalized abortion, and to stop any new pro-abortion or pro-infanticide laws, including defeat of the FOCA ("Freedom of Choice Act"); read about the FOCA threat;
For the United States Catholic Bishops to process solemnly and to install into the National Shrine of The Immaculate Conception at Washington the statue of Our Lady of America with the Lily of Purity extended from Her right hand for the protection of America (Messages of Our Lady of America);
For His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, and for the U.S. Catholic Bishops, and North American government leaders to achieve greater respect for human life and and for the virtue of purity.

Make a Vigil before The Most Blessed Sacrament:

By going to an existing perpetual eucharistic adoration chapel;
By asking your local bishop or pastor to have a special period of Exposition of The Most Blessed Sacrament for this purpose, preferably through the night;
By going to any Catholic Church before The Blessed Sacrament reposed in The Tabernacle and remaining for one (1) to nine (9) hours praying for your own intentions and those listed above sometime between 6:00 p.m. on Friday, the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, the Solemn Feast of Christ The King.

Adult men, in particular, are called to this Vigil through the night from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., remaining, if possible, for an efficacious novena of nine (9) hours, or at least for one (1) to four (4) hours during the nocturnal periods from late Friday to early Saturday, or late Saturday to early Sunday.
