Novena Beginning on September 26th, A.D. 2011, Ending on the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, October 4th



We are asking those who wish to see devotion to Our Lady of America advance more quickly to pray the following prayers once each day for these nine (9) days:
September 26, 2011 55th Anniversary of the First Apparition of Our Lady of America
September 27, 2011 Feast of Saint Vincent de Paul, Founder
September 28, 2011 Feast of Saint Wenceslaus and Feast of Saint Lorenzo Ruiz & Companions, Martyrs
September 29, 2011 Feast of Saint Michael The Archangel and of The Archangels, Gabriel & Raphael
September 30, 2011 Feast of Saint Jerome, Priest, Doctor of The Church, and Father of Scripture Studies
October 1, 2011 Feast of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, Doctor of the Church
October 2, 2011 Feast of The Holy Guardian Angels
October 3, 2011 Feast of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, Indiana Foundress of the Sisters of Providence
October 4, 2011 Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, Founder, "The Little Poor One"


Each day please pray: the Prayer to Our Lady of America, Patroness of our Land; Prayer to Saint Michael, the Archangel; The Apiration, "Glory to the Blood of Jesus, Now and forever more!"; and, the Prayer given to St. Gertrude the Great. Again, please have in mind the bishops of the United States of America, and especially also those lay persons who have been working at the behest of bishops on the devotion to Our Lady of America, as you pray this novena for their intentions.

Some may wish to begin saying these prayers this day, September 8th continuing each day for 30 days through October 7, Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
